Luminarie- Merry Christmas from Kobe Japan

"Luminarie" is Kobe's city- wide Light Sculpture- a
requiem for the victims of the Great Earthquake striking Kobe and Osaka on January 17, 1995.

Luminarie was presented in December, the same year as the earthquake.

The festival represents the revival of the city, dreams and hopes. I too find this year's end especially important as a time for reflection. I hope everyone finds peace this Christmas.- with love from Japan- olga regina
